EDIT YO: I feel like the earthy tones part might be a little confusing, cause I know of course there are bright colored birds such as blue jays and cardinals and finches and such. What i mean is just to try to make them kind of believable birds you know?

No but anyway! me and curl thought you guys could use some extra details to help your birdy cuties fit into our upcoming comic and win our contest! all of you who already entered or are working on it though, not to worry, this doesnt at all make you any less likely to win.

..But if you want an edge, heres some tips:

-Use more earthy natural tones, like the kinds that you would find on actual birds. of course you can always use bright colors, but do try to do it to a reasonable or tasteful degree uvu

-Hipsters! this comic is gonna have so many hipster birds, so it would be nice if you could take out some of the work for us heheh

-Style them after actual birds! they shouldnt necessarily be just characters of certain species although you can, but to base them off of real types of birds would be very helpful
